Politics, Race and Religion

These are 3 things that I dont like to get into conversations about. Everyone has a different opinion about them and its usually one that they are not gonna agree on. Everyday I listen to fellow co-workers make comments regarding all 3 issues, and I dont agree with them at all. To me the work place is not somewhere you discuss this. I work with all different types of people, but the ones that make negative comments all the time are the Blacks and Hispanics. I have heard more times than I can count that they always have to give money to the "White Man" and that the "White People" get away with everything, I think that if you did something wrong then you pay the price no matter what race you are. For example a single Mom Hispanic girl I work with, her son got into trouble for smoking weed, and supposely a white boy sold it to him. She said that her kid would have to get all the blame and the white boy would get off with probation because he is white. Of course thats not what happen but thats what she "assumed". Another girl I work with a Black Mom, said that her child is gonna stay in school because she didnt want her child to be another "statistic". I disagree with all of this, to me its a excuse, if you broke the law then damn it you need to deal with your punishment, but to them everyone is racist. I cant for the life of me comprehend the reason's to support any of it. I dont see how "White" people are then ones that are so racist? Im White and Ive never had anything handed to me? Ive always had to work my way up the ladder just like eveyone else? Are there special privaledges that I dont know about? Do the white people get stuff that other people are not aloud to have? Clue me in because im clueless! Do we have our own White history month? I wasnt told, Do we have our own group that helps us better our selves and supports us when the world puts us down? Do we have our own channel? How many all White Colleges do we have? We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?

Oh Politics... Not only do I listen to race issues I listen to what a crappy president we have, for putting all these husbands in war and how we dont mind our own business. Well this is thing, I was raised as a true blooded American, First you dont put down your president, no matter how much you disagree with their decsions you support your country no matter what. As for the war, I support my soldiers all the way, I have several family memebers and friends that have or is on their way to fight. If they didnt, if America didnt step in and go to them what do you think they would do? We would have a 9/11 24/7. We would live in chaos all the time. I dont know about ya'll but I like living in a free country where I dont have to worry about bombs dropping in at any moment. Another thing dont put down Bush because your husband is gone for the year to fight in a war, the last time I checked we dont have a Draft anymore, which means he or she VOLENTEERED to fight for our country, they CHOSE to do their job, did they think it was gonna be a walk in the park JOB???

As for Religion, Now the same ones I mentioned about the racism thing are the same ones who 'claim" to be BIG christians, Now I was raised Holiness, I know the bible pretty much front to back, I am not a hypocrite and will not stand here and tell you that I live by it because I dont, and I know that it tells me "Judge Not and Be ye Not Judged" So to me this means under no circumstances do you have the right to tell me when or how I am living is wrong. I have actually heard one of these girls say, about after one of the many one night stands that she had or one of her drunken nights of passion, that she had to pray over her 13yr old son because he has the Devil in him. Now call me dumb but does that make any sense? How can you pray over someone else if you live in just as much sin? The other girl actually told someone she could judge them because she was a Christian and the Bible states that she can. Now like I said I dont live by the religion I was raised on, there alot of things that I dont think is really what the bible means but everyone interpets what they want and lives by it that way and anyone that isnt living by it then they are sinners. For example, I was raised a Woman should not cut her hair because the bible states that her hair is her glory and her covering. A woman should not wear makeup or jewlry because she is adoring her temple to look like a Jezebel. A woman should not wear pants because it pertaineth to a Man and it draws attention to your body. A man should not have a beard because Jesus's was plucked out. You shouldnt go to "sinning functions" Movies, fair, ect ect. Becasue the Bible says do not assemble your selves among sinners. These are just a few things that I was raised and taught to live by and like I said I dont, everyone interepets what they want from the Bible to live by, There are 3 things that no matter what I have always stood by:
1) You do not Mock God
2) If you get saved once then you are NOT good for the rest of your life and can sin all you want and you will still go to Heavan. To me this is the saddest thing anyone ever came up with.
3) You pray to God, not Mary and Joseph or some other disciple to me that is a Idol before him.
Like I said I do avoid these kind of conversations because everyone has a different opinion when it comes to them and it always starts a fight. I live my life and raise my children the way I see fit, I support my Soldiers and under no circumstances have a I EVER got special treatment because I was White.
