Weekend Update
So ive had a really busy weekend! Heather, Scott and Tanner came over Friday night and hung out, the kids had a blast, it was pretty cool for me to hangin out and talking to adults about stuff other than work or who did'nt put their clothes in the dirty clothes for me to wash! James and Jenn got in Friday night late so I didnt go over there till Sat. the kids was so happy! They climbed and loved all on him they miss him so much he gets out there and plays ball and wrestles and stuff like that and they love it! So I spent the day over there and everyone dropped in and Me, Mom and Dad cooked so everyone ate while they was there It was fun getting to see family and friends that I havent seen in a good bit. Sunday I pretty much sat around with the kids, I did some laundry and cooked but that was the bit of it notin to drastic lol!Then today, of course I couldnt have atleast one day that I didnt do some major cleaning ! So I picked the carpets before Heather comes and gets her cleaner that Ive been holding for a yr! So of course I have to do the usual steps so I can clean them, of course my OCD wouldnt let me clean the carpets like most folks do it. So I start with the ceiling, dust every thing up there (ceiling fan, corners , cobwebs you know the usual crap hiding there), then I dust all the furniture really good then I vacume, and since all the kids was home I had to do it in sections(like my living room is bigger than 2' x 2') because I vacume backwards to avoid feet prints in my carpet so it would have been BAD if I had did the whole thing at once, after I vacume a section really good, I get on my knees with carpet cleaner and a heavy duty brush and spot clean it, then I shampoo it, spot clean some more then shampoo again. When its all dry I vacume it again a few more times! Now it usually takes me about 3-4 hrs to do but of course not today, it took ALL day!! Tony didnt get the kids until bout 1 so between "Mommy Im thirsty, Mommy Im hungry, Mommy can I go ride my bike in the street?, Mommy can I play on the computer, Mommy why are you cleaning it on your knees if that THING cleans it?, Mommy what time is Daddy coming, Mommy he hit me, Mommy NO I didnt!!" And a few more but you get the hint! That wasnt anything to do with Christopher, he slept most of the time but when he was up I had to either hold him or he wanted a bottle or he was just plain whiney because his teeth are killing him, atleast I hope its the teeth and not his ears again... ugh.... But after all that I finally got it clean and it looks really good!! For now.........
I was pretty astonished this morning to wake up and find out "Steve Irwin' had died, my kids loved him , especially Dalton. I couldnt believe that it was a sting ray, out of all the critters ive seen him mess with, it was pretty shocking.. My thoughts and prayers are with his family he left behind his wife Terri and 2 beautiful children.
So yall probaly noticed that I have switched to Blogger Beta also, I really like it. Its so much faster on your post and pics, and for people that are not HTML inclined they have a really cool template section that you can customize very easy just point click and drop! Ive been reading about the complaints on the comments and Im not seeing why every one is complaining for? You can post comments, instead of hitting your "blogger name" just hit "other" and put your name and URL in, the only thing is your pic not there but other than that its the same... I dont know, I look at like this, its free so I cant complain..
Well its back to work tommorrow so Im gonna go finish that last bit of stuff around the house!
