My roller coaster.......

Sorry I havent posted in a while, I dont really get into blogging faithfully to be honest I dont get into blogger, I mean I like having it for times to unload but I just dont have the time or energy to post on it everyday, not to mention I dont really have big stats so I dont really feel like it really matters when I dont until Heather or Steph tells me its time then I update because I know that they do read my page and keep up with whats going on with our lives. Thank you two!
So where to begin? 1st my last little baby boy turned 7mnths Weds, he's getting so big, he pulls up on every thing crawling is so yesterday for him he's ready to walk, but he tends to have a problem with putting his feet on the floor he likes to stand on his tippy toes, so he's been wearing shoes alot more than he was yes I know but I hate shoes to so I never put them on him. He went to the Eye Dr Thursday to check his pupil again and the Dr said he was fine that he was gonna check him every yr for a while just to make sure nothing changes but he's just gonna have a pupil that dialates bigger than the other. Austin is doing really good with his glasses, I have to remind them to wear them when he's reading he usually just wears them at school but the Dr said he needs to wear them alot until he gets use to them, so I try to make him wear them when he's reading or watching TV, the reading thing is so crazy for him at school this yr its un real! Im glad they want them to read but Austin has so many things to do when it comes to reading homework that its taking all his time up in the afternoons, and I remember when I was a kid home work made me hate school I would sit in a class all day then they would send home another 4hrs worth of work for me to do at home, I believe in homework to a certain extent but I dont abide with making them come home and doing all that paperwork and logs and such, I might as keep them at home and teach them my self! Of course they have the AR program, all 3 of them do this and have since pre k, this is where they read a book and when they feel comfortable they take a computer test on the book. Each grade has a point system they have to hit, prek is 5, k-5 is 10, 1st is 20 and 2nd is 30. Now they dont get a point for every book its based on the test they take, and the trick is to pick out the book that has a lot of points then pass the test. For instance if they get a book that is counted 1.5 in points and get all the questions right on the test then they get the points the book is worth. Well the twins do good and Austin always has to but this yr he has the AR, then they have this thing called their "Reading Log" which means for 15 min every night he has to sit and read a book (not AR) and then write in his log, which asks him a variety of questions, now the questions are designed for any book so he can pick something at home if he wants, then this week he came home with a folder that has a paper put in it everyday of short stories, now he has to read that as fast as he can and we have to document his WPM in reading, he has to read over 94 words in a min. for his grade. So needless to say its gets pretty hectic in the afternoons around here, when the kids get off the bus they go to their grandma's who makes them sit down and do all of their regular homework like, writing your spelling words 3x or math worksheets ect.ect whatever is on the "Homework agenda paper" then they play out side or watch TV until I get home which is around 6pm, so they get about 2hrs of play time every afternoon but that is during the week, you should have seen the house Thursday night OMG!! I was helping all 3 with studying because Fridays is when they have all their Tests, plus help Austin do his reading. Plus I was cooking and Christopher was being clingy that night so it didnt help!! But we got everything done Dalton helps me alot when it comes to his and Kayla's studyng he is so smart that kid scares me, he sits with Kayla and helps her out of course she gets aggravated alot with him, because its so easy for him and she doesnt like that he helps her, vut I try to exsplain to her that Dalton is just helping Mommy out but if she needs to ask me something then come to me and do so, and Dalton is a trip he'll be at their table in the kitchen with her going over their flash cards with her and she will not believe him and he'll say "MOM!!! will you please come tell Kayla that IM RIGHT !!' then in a low tone I hear "as usuallll" lol, ill look around the corner and see that of course he is but Kayla is looking at me like please let him be wrong, so I make him come stir something or play with Christopher and I switch with him for a bit. Its so cute though in our house when everything is going on, people will call or come by and just die, they usually dont stay long because they cant handle they constant rush that we have, but its my life and I love it.
Chris finished up class for this semester, he came out of the class with the highest average he made a 100 on his final and passed with a 98, Im so proud of him he was so happy (but tryn not to sound it you know macho guy stuff) he called me on the way home ( we live all of 5mins away) lol but Im so happy for him, hes bout to take his cert test, he's been studying on it some but just hasnt got the courage yet I guess, he'll do good I know him and thats his way. He's so ready to leave the force and get started in his career in IT, a friend of ours Dad is over the IT dept. at FT Gordon, is gonna help him get on out there, he told him that he's gonna be hiring 5 guys for a team by March to get trained, the only kick is that next October they have to go over sea's for 4mnths which Im pretty worred about. but if its something he wants to do then I support him all the way, he seems like he does.
Well I think thats about it, I had to show my butt at the kids school again but thats another long post. Oh yea Christopher cut #4 so we are finally out of the fussy stage I hope, Im so glad maybe he'll chill out with the drooling he's killiin me on laundry he goes through so many bibs a day, and wearing them is givn him this nasty rash under his neck cuz he's so fat under it, not to mention his shirts to me always smell like mildew even though he's wearing a bib and they get changed out it still smells like that, I scrub him down all the time and bleach his stuff but poor kid still has that smell I think its me because nobody else seems to smell it, weird. Ok Ill go for now, Chris told me to pick which I wanted more kitchen counters or a stove so Im gonna cruise the net and see who's better Lowes or Home depot. Im gonna put up some pics if I can..........
