Some Catchin Up..

Well Hello!! Thank you Steph for noticing no update, its good to know someone reads my blog!
Not a whole lot of stuff has been going on, Ive been workn a lot, and one thing ive learned that I hate bout' being a supervisor is having to have a "meeting" with your employees under you about what they are doing wrong, I feel like they are adults matter a fact most are older than I am, so they should know that they have a job, do it! I try to keep a good relationship with my employee's because I know what its like to work for someone who thinks they are better and don't have to do anything because they are the supervisor, I dont ask anyone to do something that I wouldn't, I try to maintain a open relationship with them so that they can come to me if they need to, one thing about the facility I work for we are very family orientiented, I mean there have been days where I have had to take my kids to work with me, or if one was sick I had to leave or something it has always been ok, and one good thing about billing is that if you need to leave and your short on hours you can come in on the weekends to catch up, and some people just take advantage of the situation, and one of those people is my girl, so I got called to the big office and told I had to have a meeting with her because of her schedule and her efficiently , which Im a firm believer that it takes at least 3 mnths to learn your job enough to where your comfortable in it, well its going on 5 mnths and she's not, and what sucks is the first of Jan I get 2 weeks vacation so she has to have her job down pat all the way with out me, and if I go on vacation she has to do some of my reports so we get paid because with out my part of it we don't, and they asked me if she was cross trained yet and I told them she's just not ready, she cant do her job with out asking me a question on how or why, so I had to put the supervisor hat on and put it out there and literally break it down to her that she has until the first of October to get her butt in gear and shape up, she was very understanding and said ok that she would do better but I just have a feeling that she's not gonna work out and I hate it I guess paperwork is just not for everyone, she came in Friday and said that she is thinking about joining the Army reserves next year, and I was like ummmm what about your job here? and she said that she was gonna take a leave of absence, so now I don't know what's gonna happen, I just know that I don't have enough hours in my day to do my job and hers like it needs to be done, so I guess when I know something for sure Ill know if I have to hire someone else or not.
So enough about work, the family is good the kido's start back to school on Monday, and I think Im so not ready for that, Mornings are just to routine for me and now I have to start another routine, Dalton got the teacher that I just hate with a passion, she has the worst attitude to me, but she does walk the line when it comes to the kids so maybe its what he needs, me and Tony made the decsion to try it out for a few weeks and see how it goes, Austin and Kayla got new teachers but they always do good in their classes so Im not really concerned about them they will do fine. Christopher is holding his bottle like a 1 yr old lol, he is almost crawling he does it the right way if something is in front of him that he really likes, otherwise he will rock back and forth and go backwards, he's growing up so fast... *sigh* Chris is doing really good in school, he's trying to get on a different part of the force called DUI task force, and it pretty much explains itself but the hours are just a little bit different still nights though, if he doesn't get it then Ill look for him to go to Dayshift, which will be nice but a big change because we are not use to him being home everynight, but I think it will be nice.
Well for all you rednecks out there I took Austin and Dalton to the Tractor Pull in Saluda Friday night, now since I got asked I know 20 times "what's a Tractor Pull?" Ill give you a run down, people will get their vehicles trucks, cars, 18 wheelers, and tractors well anything you can get a fat engine on, and they are hooked up to what we call a "sled" that has a weight on it and as they pull this thing the weight drops down and pulls on the vehicle, so basically who ever pulls it the farthest down the track wins and of course you have different classes , tractors against tractors, 2 wheel drive against 2 wheel drives, you get the point, anyways its so fun I went every year when I was a kid and always loved it, so this was my boys first one and they got a kick out of it, Austin caught a tshirt that they threw out into the crowd swallowed him whole but he wore that sucker proudly, we were sitting at the fence so they was about 30 feet from the pull, and when they have to come back down the track they come right up beside the fence so I got some good pictures, but I couldn't resist snappin some of the people there, now me Im comfortable in my jeans and boots and tshirt any ol'e day but some of these folks come straight down from the hills, but I love seeing them I can say they are the friendliest folks I know.
Well Im get off of here, Im gonna try and put a pic on here but if I cant ill post some later.

I was actually dissapointed with the Tractor Pull now, when I was a kid they was loud they would have 2-3 engines some would even have airplane engines on them, but now they dont have anything it was defiantly a bummer I was all excited and had a major let down, but my kids had a awesome time.
