The Kids
Well Ive only got 2.5 to update on the life because I just spent 2hrs reading and replying to everyones blogs and myspaces! Plus my oldest stopped me atleast once every 5 min to ask me something or to let me know how much he likes the Braves and why.SO school! YEA everything went great, Dalton got the teacher that I had a few words with last yr and of course she hasnt taught any of my kids and THIS YR they give her my Dalton! THANKS school system! BUT I must say he likes her and she said he is wonderful in her class, so either he is starting young on making sure he likes everything I don't or he needed a firm manly woman to teach him and make him stay inline, we shall see me and Tony made the descision to leave him in for a while and see how he does! Austin and Kayla got some pretty cool teachers they are fairly new to the school so I dont much about them Im waitin on my "contacts" to update me (for those of you who's kids have not started school, its always good to have "contacts" in the school where your child(ren) go trust me!) Kayla's teacher has been doing it for around 20 yrs but im not worried bout Kayla she always does good in school, Austins teacher is pretty young, not alot of experience but she seems to be a good teacher I like her methods in teaching so I think he will do good.
About Austin, he has been complaining this year about headaches and his eyes, he has been squinting and saying that he cant see, Austin can be a little dramatic at times and sad to say we just kinda brushed it off this summer, well he came home from school and said that he cant see the board so we did some tests with him and he cant see stuff far away, SO Ive made him an appointment with his regular Dr to check him out and refer us to the Eye guy , we'll see how it goes. Monday I noticed a little bump on Christophers knee, I figured mosquito or something well Tues I noticed another one well Weds night I was bathing him and noticed that all on his little butt and thighs he had these bumps, and they look like bites of some sort, well I got worred because we dont have critters in our house ( as much as Dalton hates it I havent gave in to his demands!) So Thurs morn when I took him to Daycare I was talkin to the girls about it and they said that they had noticed it to but thought that it was ant bites, so I asked if he got it there and they said no they thought he got them at home, well we got to looking and talking and we got a relevation OH GOD CHICKEN POX! A little boy in his class bout 1 mnth ago had them BAD I was like DAMN!! GRREAAT Of course they make me take him and he has to be cleared by the Dr before he can come back! So I call my Mom and she keeps him until I can get to work and get in touch with his Dr for an appt, Get to the Drs he checks him out and says that the symptoms are like Chicken Pox but only a few look like them, he said that it is rare for a 5mnth old to get them and for them to come up on his butt first. So he referred to the Book and said that at his age he should have like 200, so he starts checkn everything else and gets to the Ears, and what do you know Ear infection in BOTH, and to make it reallllllllllllyyyyy bad he tells me that the left one is infected so bad it has puss behind the ear drum! Now Im worried! Because my child has in no way or form acted like a child that has puss in his ears!! He hasnt fussed the first time! So then he starts thinkin it could be a "Viral" infection, and you get bumps sometimes with Viral infections, then he says but I sure would be curious to see what a varciella (sp) blood test says, but it takes forever to get back. I look at him and say well lucky for me I work across the street at the Lab, then he looked like a kid in the candy store, so he asked me to get it done and fax him the results, so Ill find out Monday what the blood test says.
Well I think thats it, I got aggravated with the dieting and went to the Dr and got my trusty pills back so im on a roll now! WOOHOOO!!
Anyways Ill post some more later, Austin is standing right beside me askin me more questions on why my Title says "The Kids" Does that mean your writing about us MOM???????
