Dr. Visit

Well I went to the Dr this morning, 1st I had my sonagram, and the girl that does my sonagrams is real cool well today when she got done I asked her how many weeks was the baby measuring, she said hmmmmmmm Ill have to let him tell you, I said Ok, Well how much does he weigh? and she replied Yea he's gonna have to tell you that to, SOoooooo Now im freaked because she always tells me everything, I go back to the waiting room and call my Mom cuz Im freaking out!! Well I finally get called back, and my Dr comes in smiling and says well.... I said ok what the hell is up she wouldnt tell me anything and I want to know how big is my kid! He goes ummm well he's measuring bigger than what we hoped, say around 10lbs... At that moment every muscle in my pelvic floor cussed me out.............
So me and the Dr start discussing my options which he didnt like but this is what Ive agreed to , Monday @ 6:00 am their gonna induce if nothing starts going by that afternoon then there's gonna be a C-section, but since im anti- C-section lets hope that doesnt happen!
Of course the Dr just wants to go ahead and do it but Ive got to atleast try to deliver my child...
So thats the verdict now Ive yet to pack lol because I just like to wait it out lol, so I have that to do, My kids are going to their Dad's Sunday night which is cool so I dont have to worry about them.... And I think im gonna just spend time with them this weekend since Ill have a new one next week that will want alot of my attention...
Well I'll try to post some this weekend other wise look for me sometime either next Wed or Thurs ........

Patty had this to say:: Good luck, but one that size perhaps should come out c-section. My largest was 9 lbs. 3 or 4 ozs. can't remember. I was about a week overdue with her, all the others were in the 8 lb. 2 to 4 oz. range and they all came around the time we expected. I only had to have a few stitches with the first one, since they made a little cut rather then let me tear, all the others just popped out.

Have you gone over? Or do you just have large babies? At this rate, he'll be able to wear three month old clothes before he pops out.

Mrs Pat, Everyone keeps saying go for a C section dont go through the hassle of labor lol but Ive delivered all my children natural and its what I know If the good Lord wants me to have a C section then so be it, Im not over yet as a matter of fact im early lol he's not due until Feb 26, but Ive never had none this big, my biggest was 7lbs and 10oz, but I weighed 9lbs and 15oz when I was born and Chris weighed right at 9lbs when he was born so I think thats prob where its coming from ...; 2/17/2006 9:46 PM
