Things that make you go hhhhhhmmmmm.....

Well Hello All!! its been a few days since ive ranted about life lol ! All is well this week, I was sick whith a very nasty headcold last week while on my trip but I think Ive officially gave it to everyone at work !! My kids THANK GOD have not got it ( knocking on wood as we speak) !! BUT... I was coming down the stairs at work yesterday more like waddling since ive gained a whole 57LBS in this pregnancy anyways as I was coming down I felt a gush of fluid come out ( sorry no details all you that have kids no what im talking about) needless to say I get to the bottom of the steps and do that little stance like a kids does when he's checking his own diaper but of course my waistline wont let me see if my pants are wet so as im in this stance one of my fellow co workers comes walking by and I hear " OH MY GOD!!!!!! DID YOUR WATER BREAK!! EVERYONE BECCA'S WATER JUST BROKE!!!!!!!" So now im looking like what the @#$$ ??????? Run to the bathroom where I am drenched BUT its clear soooooooo I clean up and trying to make the decision should I go home? or stay since ive got like 3 hrs left of work?? So I walk out and calm everyone down cuz Ive got people on the verge of having kids themselves and THIER NOT PREGNANT!! So for good measure and to well shut them the hell up I called the Dr. whom in turn asked me a bunch of questions and apperantly I didnt answer with the correct answers and so he made me drive to his office SOOOOOOOO I leave tell the girls thanks alot and ill be back and off I go to the Dr's whom by the way is TIMING ME to get there so this means no changing clothes but hey ive got 3 kids IVE BEEN WORSE! So to make this long story short... I get to the Dr and he checks my cervix which is fine now "pooling fluid" in it and does a culture on me and comes up with a idea that just mayby what had happened was and yes your gonna love this, That I probaly have a UTI ( urinary track infection) and when the baby hit my bladder I PEED on my self !! come on!! IM 25!! So how can I have a UTI and not know you ask ??? Apperently this is common because some woman can get them and not even know! So I got some good drugs which reminds me I need to go get those filled ooops.
So needless to say oh yea I have a very bad addiction to eating Ice yes its weird but I learned something on why I do this, my Dr was concerned that I always have perfect iron its always around 14 well when I went thurs it was a 9 (not good) and he asked was I eating ice ( yes) and I was informed that Ice will make me anemic, How you ask? because I asked I now know, Apperently people eat ice as a dietary supplement and you trick a part of your brain to shut down so that you dont eat or get hungry you just make your self think your eating but your not so some how they get anemic out of all this I would think starvation but who knows I have the wrong Medical Degreee to know!

Patty had this to say:: My doctor told me, with my last (5th.) one, when I would have these little spurts of fluid come out, your sac can get what he referred to as blisters on it and the water blisters can break causing some leakage.

But yes, I would think you also could have a bladder infection that would cause that to happen. And sometimes in the early stages it isn't that painful yet. Our yougest wet herself once in phys ed class, the school called and said bring her some dry clothes. I thought what is her problem, so I took her to the doctor and she had a bladder infection but no pain yet.

Hang in there you don't have much longer to go. I gained 3 pounds with our last one, she weighed 8lbs. 2ozs. I was too heavy when I got pregnant, weighed 160, so when she was born, I still weighed 160. But I looked a heck of a lot thinner. Ha!Ha!.

Steph, Sorry to hear about the delay my oldest Austin I went 2 weeks over with him.. I was to the point where I was ready to take some heads off, but they induced me and broke my water and BAM it was on! As for my twins they induced at 37 weeks but they were so big anyways and I was beyond big since I had just gave birth 13 mnths prior lol! But I feel like a 40 wk prego as it is but Ill wait I still like my sleep at night lol! Let me know how its going mayby she'll give in soon and make her appearance!; 12/11/2005 7:48 PM
